The 3 tasks
| Task | Format | Time |
|---|---|---|
| Task 1 | Guided interview, no preparation | 2 min |
| Task 2 | Interactive exercise: you ask questions to get information in an everyday situation | 2 min of preparation, then 3 min 30 |
| Task 3 | Expressing a point of view, no preparation | 4 min 30 |
The section lasts 12 minutes, face to face with an examiner. Your speaking is marked by the examiner, then by a second marker from the recording, each without seeing the other's mark.
How to handle each task
- Task 1, guided interview: prepare a short introduction of yourself, but don't recite it. Develop each answer with an example.
- Task 2, interaction: during the 2 minutes of preparation, note about ten varied questions. React to the examiner's answers.
- Task 3, point of view: state your position, develop two or three arguments with examples, consider the opposite view, then conclude.
Est-ce que vous pourriez me dire… ?
